May 2011 – Local IT Company Wins Golf Day!

Local IT company, Ten Ten Systems Limited of Abbey Square, Chester, was victorious at a charity golf day held at Oswestry Golf Club on 13th May in aid of leading medical research charity, Arthritis Research UK. Although Ten Ten Systems Ltd have been attending the golf day for the past four years this is the first time they have left as victors! Steve Birks, Managing Director at Ten Ten Sytems Ltd and golfer, commented: “We always look forward to the annual Arthritis Research UK Charity Golf Day, playing a beautiful course and for such a good cause. This year was very special walking away with the winner’s trophy for the first time.” Fourteen teams took part in the golf day which is organised each year by Arthritis Research UK regional fundraising manager, Ruth Owen who commented: “We have a lovely time at our charity golf day each year with golfers playing a truly beautiful course and relaxing in the clubhouse afterwards. It was lovely to see Ten Ten Systems Ltd victorious this year, especially since they have previously sponsored the golf day. This year we are very grateful to have the support of Macbyrde Homes Limited and some fantastic golfing prizes donated by Shrewsbury based internet business Golf Gear 4 You who donated a smashing TaylorMade R11 Drive and Cleveland Putter amongst other items! The golf day raised over £3,500 thanks to this support which means we can fund even more exciting research such as the latest national Centre of Excellence in Tissue Engineering, part of which is based at nearby Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen which will help us take the pain away for sufferers of all forms of arthritis and help people remain active.”

January 2011 – Ten Ten Systems designs and hosts the new website for Conwy Care & Repair. The website was launched by Gareth Jones the Plaid Cymru, Welsh Assembly Member and is seen below navigating the new site.

Ten Ten Systems worked very closely with Conwy Care & Repair to ensure the website was designed to the high standards required including Welsh language translation.

October 2010 – Abbey Gate School in Hoole has started the new school year on a high note.

The school's deputy head, Mrs Phyl Barlow has been awarded the title 'Teacher of the Year' as part of the Local Heroes event run by the radio station Dee 106.  Mrs Barlow was presented with her trophy at a glittering awards ceremony at the Ramada Hotel.

Mrs Barlow is seen demonstrating the school's new state of the art interactive whiteboard recently installed by Chester-based Ten Ten Systems Ltd.  Its advancd features are designed to meet the high-tech demands of today's teaching environment.  The interactive pen, the short-throw projector, built-in speakers, and no glare or shadows facility all contribute to first class presentations and allow the children to benefit from the most engaging and modern teaching methods.  Lessons come to life with incredible colour and detail and excellent clarity of sound and give the children an unforgettable learning experience.

After starting the business as a partnership ten years ago, the existing directors have steered the business through many changes and challenges and became a limited company in 2003.
